Slim & I had communicated off list a bit before Marianne's death.
We had both been through a devastating loss,the loss of a spouse;  he & I have several other things in common, so I have just been a 'sounding board' of sorts.

Slim & I spent a bit of time on the phone today and he sends his regards. He's not ready to come back on the list as of yet, but wanted everyone to know that he is doing OK. Ups & downs, of course, but dealing.
