Cody,
The sheets typically run outside the stays.  They will rub.  A lot of owners will fit a length of PVC pipe over the stays to reduce the rubbing.

Hello to the group I am Cody and became the proud owner last Nov. I would ask if any one in the group has any pics as to how the jib sheets run back to the cockpit as I am sure I have them wrong?? running from the sails (jib) around  the stays - were they rub!! and on to the cockpit. I am sure thats wrong! Please help!! thx Cody
