[Rhodes22-list] Loose-Footed Close-Hauling

Lee,

Interesting.  My RC boat has a loose footed mainsail also.  There is a
marked improvement in pointing and speed by opneing the gap between foot and
boom to 3 fingers.  A linear translation to the R22 would be 21 fingers.
