[Rhodes22-list] More Ice

Wow!  Now that's a lot of shoveling.  Be smart about it, and take it slow.  Do only what is necessary, and let the rest melt.

It was in the high 50's in the Northwest for over the weekend.  Where has all the snow gone?  East and South this year.

Anyone want to shovel by driveway, roof, patio?  I spent four hours shoveling
the roof yesterday and need to finish the job today, then the driveway.

I'll have to have at least one heart attack before I have any kind of a
chance of getting out of snow shoveling or housework.

Ben,
        I think similar stresses are involved in making up a bed, doing the
dishes or vacuuming...at least for men.  This is my learned opinion after
extensive research.

Note to southerners not accustomed to snow. No male over 50 should ever be
shoveling snow. Trust me the cost of paying some young kid to do it is much
less the cost of a heart attack. I don't know your age or state of health,
but if you are anywhere near my age (61) you will avoid snow shoveling. I'm
not trying to frighten anyone, but the fact is the most common first sign of
heart disease in men is SUDDEN DEATH, and the mechanics of snow shoveling
are perfect for provoking that event.
