Greetings:
     Who among you has installed a small solar ventilation fan in this boat?  My reference here is to the self-contained sort, one that does not rely on the boast's battery for power.  I am thinking of a good location and would like to avoid cutting through the core, if possible. How about the slider on the pop top?    Thanks.

            again;
same as  every

            other
recent...

            quiet
Saturday, same

as any known well

for lazy coffee

meets, safe

and seen.  The talk:

of little league

and in-laws, kitchen remodel

in progress, baby

on the way.

Next— 

day off is Monday.

But Monday never comes again.

Even Sunday will resist

a turning of the page.

Anguish of the 4th

now etched into calendar’s 

leaden sheet; red 

red street

channels their blood

into the gutters

where plans and dreams

even love—

insignificant, love—

flow reluctantly 

to the rivers

and finally surrender their powers

to the anonymous and thirsty ocean.                               4
