I replace the OEM-Stan dorade vent on my '85 with a 3" (~3 1/4 outside diameter) Nicro day-night fan. It fits securely in the un-modified dorade hole. Runs at night on a standard "C" ni-cad battery.

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Vexed on Ventilation

Greetings:
Who among you has installed a small solar ventilation fan in this boat? My reference here is to the self-contained sort, one that does not rely on the boast's battery for power. I am thinking of a good location and would like to avoid cutting through the core, if possible. How about the slider on the pop top? Thanks.
