Alex,
Somehow you need to retain ownership to your Rhodes and repair it.
Fiberglass is easily repaired. Take a cash settlement from the Insurer and move
on, keeping your hull. Just my 2 cents worth.

Rummy,

We drove down to look at the O'Day this morning, and wow, what a
difference!
Knee basher is right, the boat felt so tiny and cramped. Even though I have
never sailed in a Rhodes, I remember now what I learned in my research last
year. It is a world apart from the Rhodes. It has stiffened my resolve to
replace my boat with another Rhodes if I am unable to repair it.

The interior space is so cramped, the v-berth is so much shorter, the
quarter berths more cramped, it makes me realize the genius of the rhodes
interior layout.

Well, anyone know of any inexpensive rhodes 22's for sale?

Alex

p.s. A belated Happy Birthday!
