Caesar,
Sounds like a wonderful trip. Hope the weather gods are favorable.

Hey, I traced your route using Google Earth. In Sidney there is a place called Rumrunner Pub and Restaurant. Let us know if Rummy is there. - rob

Ahoy captains,

I hope preparations for our cruise is progressing smoothly.  We have one Bob Alexander joining us in his boat on our sail this year.  Welcome Bob!

Greg and I met with our Charts and Tide Tables earlier this week and made a rough sailing schedule.

We expect to meet on Friday June 25th at Washington Park, Fidalgo Head, in Anacortes area.  This was our launching point last year.  It has two launch ramps, a floating dock, parking spaces for tow vehicles and trailers, and camping facilities with running water, toilets and showers.

We can launch Friday evening, and sleep in our boats anchored in the bay, or we can launch Saturday morning.  Either way we have to pay a small fee for use of the facilities.

1.  Depart Saturday 26th for Sucia Island, but the tides are against us on Saturday morning, so it looks like a midday departure would be prudent.
We spend Saturday night campout at Sucia.

2. Sunday 27th we depart for Sidney, Canada.  Sidney hasdockand facilities.

3. Monday 28th June, destination Stewart Island, campout Stewart Island.

4. Tuesday June 29th, destination Roche Harbor on San Juan Island with dock and facilities.

5. Wednesday June 30th, destination Griffin Bay San Juan Island.  Heading south along the western shore of the Island.  We hope to see whales.  Wecampout at Griffin Bay.

6. Thursday July 1st, destination Friday Harbor.  This is a great stop with guest docks, facilities, restuarants, shopping etc.

7. Friday July 2nd, destination Hunter Bay on Lopez Island.  Wecampout here.

8. Saturday July 3rd.  We cross Rosario Straight for departure point, Washington Park, and head for home.

Lets hope we have great weather to accomplish this, because weather always has the final say.

Comments, questions, suggestions are welcome.

Caesar
