[Rhodes22-list] safety articles worth reading

Mary Lou,

I single-handle year round and the only change I make for cold weather
safety is switching from an inflatable fannypack PFD to a real one. I
never go forward and can't imagine falling out of the cockpit but I know
it could happen. After reading this article I think I'll put myself on
a short tether and start wearing a horn and flare gun.

Thanks!

Found a link to these articles on the TSBB (Trailer Sailor Bulletin
Board). Looks like good safety reading for anyone who is out on the
water.
