[Rhodes22-list] NEW BOAT NAMES?

KUHN, LELAND LKUHN at cnmc.org

The Other Chris,

I like all three.

Here's something from April of 2006:

________________________________________________________________________

It's Lee from Kent Island (introduced 10-26-05).

My wife and I couldn't agree on a boy's name until well after our son
was born, so it's no surprise that we can't agree on a boat name.

Attached are a few of the names we narrowed it down to. If you have a
good name that's not on the list, we're all ears.

If we pick a name that you recommend, we'll send you a bottle of Mt. Gay
rum, except for Rummy. If he wins we'll send him something more
appropriate like flowers or chocolates.

Thanks and good luck!

Lucky for me I've already got a name, the other Chris must indeed figure
one
out, but I like Rhodes End.

Chris;

Check out www.10000boatnames.com. It will get you started. Serenity is
like
the second most popular sailboat name in the world (goes to show you
with
what illusions we approach this hobby).

When you get your boat see if Rik Sandberg from this list is still in
the
business of doing "press on" graphics for boats. He did a great job for
me
and many others.

Note- Being no fool, I named my boat after my wife. It was a stroke of
genius on my part. Not original, but definitely the right move for me.
