That is the way my backstays look. I also have another set of blocks set up
higher.

 I have a 71 with the original rope traveler (see enclosed picture) one nice
thing about this setup is when you want to pull the main sheet in to point
high you can use the rope as a backstay adjuster by applying more tension
you shorten the length of the traveller as well.
