I would suggest that you ask your insurance companies about policies that do
not cover hurricane-related damage.  We are fortunate to be able to trailer
our boat and get out of a named storm's way, and I think we could usually
improve our rates quite a bit with non-hurricane coverage.  Post-Katrina,
it's the only type of policy that I could get.

Do you use BoatUS?  Do you think you would be prevented from Florida of
points south in the winter - perhaps just redefine the locations.
