That is really scary...do you think it might have been someone stupid with a
new gun?...not that that would make being shot any easier...had the sheriff
dealt with a problem like that in your area before...how far did he think
the bullet traveled before landing in your filing cabinet...

Here are pix I took of the .380 hole that appeared in my house a bit ago. I
stuck a rod through the hole from the outside to the inside to get an idea
of the trajectory. It is pointing right at my legs as I sit here.
Re: photos..the shot came across the creek about where the dog is standing.
you can see the house (a field next to it is blocked by the trees, and the
creek is visible to the left of my dog.)
