[Rhodes22-list] Jib lines without roller question

Greg,
Do you have track on the coaming for a genoa car? Most Rhodes have
that and if you are going to switch to roller furling and anything
larger than a working jib I would highly recommend you consider it.
The multiple sheeting positions allow for good sail shape on all
points of sail. The sheets will still rub against the shrouds which
is why the PVC tubing is recommended. With a working jib (or a reefed
genoa) you can run the sheets between the shroud and the cabin. Many
Rhodes have either track with an eye or a fixed eye to allow for this
sort of sheeting.

I agree with the others. I'd try to find a way to ditch the blocks on
the chainplates and come up with a more flexible sheeting arrangement.

I'll see if I can hunt up some pictures.
