July 2009: Guy from  Australia purchases Rhodes 22 from a guy in Maryland - From
photos -

Buyer never  actually sees the Rhodes "in person" and asks seller to store it at
his home for  "a month
or so" while he  arranges to have the Rhodes 22 shipped to Belize.

July 2009 - July  2010: Rhodes sits at sellers home while buyer from Australia
tries to arrange  shipping.
Sometime during  this period guy from Australia has Rhodes 22 and Triad Trailer
titles  transferred
to himusing  the sellers address.

Early August 2010:Original seller contacts Australian and tells him that Rhodes
needs to move  on
and off his  property. Australian decides to sell Rhodes instead because he's
found shipping  it to
Belize will cost  more than he wants to pay.

August 16, 2010: Guy in Maryland places add on Craigslist for the Rhodes and I
stumble across it  that evening.
I get in touch with  the guy in Maryland and he emails me the initial group of
photos. Based on these  photos
I agree to purchase  the Rhodes subject to inspection and he sends me the second
group of photos.

August 18, 2010: Titles are sent to the Australian (who is now in England) for
signatures.

September 21, 2010: After about 4 weeks the titles finally arrive back in
Maryland and I drive there  from Greensboro, NC to
look at and  hopefully buy the Rhodes. I look at the Rhodes early the next
morning and it looks  fine so I complete the purchase
and head for  Greensboro at 11 AM with the Rhodes in tow arriving home at 6:45
PM.

The Rhodes needs a  little "TLC" mainly from sitting unused for over a year.
Nothing major - just  soap, elbow grease,
wax, and more elbow  grease. Some of the lines will need replacing and I'll
probably clean up some of  the wiring. I'll
also be buying  Stan's mast support to replace the 2x6 holding it up now.

You can see a bunch of photos of my "new" Rhodes 22 here:
