Charlevoix has some great beaches and places to explore as described by Mark.
My brother in law lives during the summer on his classic looking Carver
power boat with twin chevy engines that he keeps docked in East Jordan. He
met us for lunch in Ironton and then took us for an afternoon cruise along
the Southern fork of lake Charlevoix. Enclosed is a picture from my sketch
book showing the lake layout, Lakeside Restaurant in Ironton (this is were
the ferry moves cars back and forth across the lake) and my brother in laws
classic looking boat.
