[Rhodes22-list] Locking/Securing the Cabin (broken lock on pop top hatch)

I have a '92 (recycled '07) I was lucky enough to pick up last Spring. I
noticed the lock on the pop top slider no longer works. The lock presses in
and latches, but the pin does not protrude in far enough to "catch" against
the track on the pop top. If you lift/wiggle the latch the slightest bit it
will allow the pin to slide past the bump on the track and open the hatch.
The boat is in a generally safe area, but no need to tempt fate.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone have an easy fix?

I'm trying to avoid mounting any new hardware or making any holes in the
fiberglass, but also trying to avoid the headache of any hooligans dipping
into my gear.

I appreciate any feedback.
