[Rhodes22-list] Rhodes 22 on ebay

Rusty,
No, not bidding. I'm in good shape with boats and trailers now. The boat looks in pretty good shape, the lack of a trailer always makes things a bit more difficult. Maybe Stan has some trailers around that he would sell to someone. - rob

Rob,

So are you bidding on that ebay boat today?

That's why I was asking about trailers, but I've decided to pass on it
because, ebing on the West coast, I'd have to have the marina store it
until June, and I'd have to get and/or modify a trailer, get a bigger
vehicle, drive to NY and haul it back .... just too much for me to deal
with.

But, having talked to the seller (and indirectly to the donor), it sounds
like a great deal for someone like you: motor and sails are all 3-5 yrs old
and in great shape. He described the owner as a nice old man and I got the
feeling that he just donated the boat for religious/charity reasons because
he's getting too old to sail it. ... If I were on East Coast, would be
worth it for motor and sails alone ... Too bad the Rhodes is unsinkable,
otherwise one just could take the motor and sails and ..... LOL ;-)

Good Luck if you're trying to get it - Rusty
