[Rhodes22-list] Mast Step Popped

I suspect we are talking about two different things. Stan uses
relatively short wood screws screwed into already hardened epoxy. If
you fill the holes, let it harden and then put in the screws, they
should provide enough resistance to keeping the mast in place for
ordinary raising and lowering and yet should pull out if there are
unusual forces placed on it by a botched raising or lowering process.
