[Rhodes22-list] Newbie questions Suppliers/Anchoring/Sail Balance

Look in your anchor rode storage tray to make sure there isn't rode
there before you buy any. We thought we didn't have any until Stan
told us where to look (that was back in 1998).

We keep our anchor and rode in an anchor rode storage bag in the
lazarette. Helps keep moisture out of the boat. We always make sure
it is quickly available. I described it in the posting on the TSBB.
There are other rode storage ideas in the thread.

Most R22s have neutral helm in light air, some have lee helm. Try
adding some weight in the bow - we keep our water tank mostly full
and keep our spare anchor up in the v-berth.

Best,
Mary Lou
