Yes, we have the Yamaha 9.9 4-stroke and flushing is extremely easy. The
first thing I do upon returning from a sail is raise the engine, connect
the hose, and begin flushing. I let it flush while attending to the other
chores. I believe Yamaha recommends flushing for 15 minutes after each use.
