If you go to any marine outlet web site and check out the specifications  
for weight limits (difference) between the two sizes, you will appreciate 
what I  told you. Just because it's stamped on to the coupler doesn't matter 
because  they don't know how much weight you will have on your specific 
trailer when its  built.
