[Rhodes22-list] Roller Furler on 1984 R22

Richard,

It sounds like you have the "old style" GB furler. It is just an aluminum tube with spool plates made on the bottom to
create an open spool. The headstay runs through the center and is captured top and botom and held in the center by plastic plugs. I have to draw you a pic of that too if yours are missing or see if I have an old one I can snap a pic of. The genny has a sleeve luff and it slides over the tube and is secured top and bottom with a screw and fender washer curved to match the tube.

Its not the CDI roller - at least I don't think so. There are no manufacturer's labels on it and the top and bottom spools are devoid of any shackles and internal halyards. I will take some pics in the morning. Thanks for all your comments and help Richard -- View this message in context: http://rhodes-22.1065344.n5.nabble.com/Roller-Furler-on-1984-R22-tp44355p44364.html Sent from the Rhodes 22 mailing list archive at Nabble.com. __________________________________________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe go to http://www.rhodes22.org/mailman/listinfo/rhodes22-list For the list Charter and help with using the mailing list and archives go to http://www.rhodes22.org/list __________________________________________________
