Andrew,
Your gas goes bad that quickly?  I've got the same gas I started the season with (I do use fuel stabilizer in my gas) and haven't had any problems.  - rob

A NY Times article reports that ethanol plants ate examining switching production to butanol. This alcohol does not take up water as ethanol does and can be made from non-food crops. My gas goes bad after 6 weeks with treatment and 2 weeks without. It does depend on the weather a bit. Spring is the worst Season. Lets hope they do this and bring down the cost of gas.
