[Rhodes22-list] Clanging Mast

That's the wire running inside the mast to the light at the top. Most boats have this wire wrapped inside something like pipe insulation to prevent the noise. Bad news is you have to drop the mast to install such. If you tailer, that won't be a problem. Note, after the mast is down, tie a string line to the wires at the top after you remove the light (s). Pull the wire out from the bottom with the string trailing, wrap the wires and pull back in with the string. Should solve the problem.
