[Rhodes22-list] The Rhodes floats.

I forwarded to photo to a cousin who replied

"Ironic the word "unsinkable" is used referring to the Rhodes with a Boston Whaler in the background. The Rhodes appears to have good level flotation, but the Whaler folks chainsawed one of their products into three pieces and each section floated with a person in it!"

I'd rather have a Rhodes, natch. But if I'm ever in a Whaler that breaks into 3 pieces, I'm glad to know I can choose any of the 3 to stay afloat.

This was just Stan's way to test and show that the R22 will indeed float  
when full of water. They first opened a thru hull fitting, but that failed to 
 fill the boat to the level he wanted to see, so they removed the 
centerboard cap  to really fill it. No pressure on the straps at all.
