[Rhodes22-list] Galley Shelf

I have yet to try my R22 out, but I have been hard at work restoring the
interior this winter. I considered marine ply for all the interior
fittings, but I had a discussion with a "so called" expert and he advised
that most good quality ply uses water resistant glues these days and the
only gain with marine ply is the reduction of voids and the reduction of
"Green Backs" in your wallet. I am using 1/2" interior finished ply for all
fittings that "should" remain above the waterline.

I saw your rendition of the galley and it looks great. I believe simple is
better. I am musing over a couple of things in this regard. Maybe you can
help:
 - What materials are you planning to use for your draw sliders?
 - Do you plan to install an ice box?
 - What are your plans for the cupboard door materials and installation
(sliding/opening)?

Cheers
