[Rhodes22-list] Using mast crutch for tarp

All, Just spent the day emptying the boat, fogging the motor, and cleaning.
I've read lots of pro and cons on the list concerning shrink-wrap, custom
covers (thanks Art but way to expensive for me), and tarps to including
fabrication of a PVC structure to reenforce the cover of choice.

Does anyone just use the GB mast crutch to support a tarp while on the
trailer? My blue-hulled boat was recycled this year and a assume Stan uses
awlgrip paint on topsides and hull. Everyone on the list is adamant about
not shrink-wrapping painted hulls so I guess I won't spend the $.

It seems to me that the GB mast crutch provides a good A-frame so snow won't
build up. I bought a 20X30 tarp and it seems like it would work well using
this approach.

Any advice? Other than moving back to Florida!
