Sorry that you will miss the Annapolis Show.

I think that when you see pictures of Oyster Bay (20-30 miles west of Kings
Park) you might be looking at Kings Point, part of Long Island's "Gold
Coast".  Not bad for a glorified sandbar and some glacial deposits.  We like
it just the same. Please say hello when you are in town.

Sorry I'm going to miss you and everyone else at the boat show this year. 
Always a treat to see Stan and his crew and fellow Rhodies and
Rhodie-wannabees.  A high school buddy of mine will be showing off his new
Amel64 at the show and I really wanted to see it since it's so much like our
Rhodes.

I don't like to drive so my darling Admiral has planned a marathon road trip
to Nashville, Fort Sill, Fort Riley and Fort Knox.  Sounds like I'm still in
the military but it's just where a bunch of relatives and in-laws live.  We
weren't to leave until the weekend but she rescheduled earlier so I won't be
able to make the boat show.  Always next year.

Is 50 miles east of NYC at Kings Park?  My son (the Fort Sill stop) is
getting married at Oyster Bay next summer.  I've only seen pictures but if
it's in your neck of the woods you live in a beautiful part of the country.
