What a difference! Congratulations.

I am curious about how you lifted the boat off its trailer. Looks like the
back was placed over the picnic table with the tongue of the trailer very
low and then the front of the boat was hoisted with cargo straps. Were the
straps just cargo straps and, if so, what strength rating are they? Was the
ratchet mechanism sufficient to lift the boat alone?

Hello Rhodies

It has been a long time since I've posted here.  If you remember me, I was
restoring a  VERY BADLY neglected Rhodes 22 that I picked up for $250.
Anyway, I kind of let an entire summer go by without doing any work on
her... because I purchased a Balboa 26 and was doing a lot of work on that
instead.   But this past weekend, I got back to my Rhodes.

I had already stripped the bottom to gel coat, and filled in all of the
dings, gouges and blisters and this weekend I put on two coats of epoxy
barrier coat and two coats of enamel... and repainted the boot stripe.

I've attached before -- in between and after pics.
