[Rhodes22-list] Traveler height

Can I raise the bar of my traveler? As you can see it is interfering with my comfort. I don't have a tape out here this morning but I am estimating that the bar is 16" off the gunnels.  I had a '80 model and it seemed to be hire. I should also probably fess up that I really don't use the traveler properly. I have it set to the center and there it stays.
