You will love the 9.8. Had one. Super smooth, super reliable, super strong. 2 stroke or 4? Mine was a 2. Great motor. Make sure you get it professionally serviced though. A long ugly story...I had a serious problem replacing my thermostat, which on my 2 stroke, was "under" the head. I'll spare you the details....one hint...skinny head bolts... Anyway, enjoy!
