Thanks Chris but I'm afraid the low seven hundreds is about all I can do.... lucky me... a farmer who loves sailing..... :)
Instead of going to the casino, I roll the dice on sight unseen boats when my crop check comes in. This one didn't pan out too well, but the parts I have will help make my Newport 214 (my gamble last year) into a better boat. Not at all bad really, and I learned a bunch in the process...

Once again Brad...don't know if you are still searching or considering another purchase, but my 87 Rhodes is a sweet boat, solid as a rock and very reasonably priced in the low 7s....might be worth a look. I'm in NY. You can search my posts to get a feel of her history and the upgrades I have done.
