Brad:

What part of Northern Michigan do you sail? I have been spending part of my summer's on Charlevoix for the past 27 years and hope to trailer my Rhodes 22 up North from Washington DC at some point.

Thanks all for the replys. I thought it was a dead list until I just went to my email spam filter and found em all..... I'll try to post the link again http://www.ebay.com/itm/LF-1974-General-Boats-Crop-Rhodes-22-039-Used-Sailboat-amp-Trailer-New-York-/111480956136?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=Evhogic9VxhvkqwcvUScGMoMQUs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
I've been doing this a while.... at least since I was 10 (I'm 53 now......). Started out with an old Snark Sunflower, and the largest boat I had was a Beneteau 265. Last year, I bought a Newport 214 (which is a great boat), but one of my problems is I read too much and really like certain designers. Phillip Rhodes, and Olin Stephens being two of em. Sooooo. This boat came along and I couldn't turn it down. Now, I have to convince the wife, that her car can go outside for the winter here in northern Michigan and be fine.....
When I saw this ad, I was redoing the interior on the Newport. I'll finish that up this winter and hopefully get some time in on the Rhodes.
Anyway, hopefully this message goes to the right place. If I don't reply, I'm not rude, I'm just trying to figger out how this mail-serv works!!
Thanks,Brad

I am particularly glad to have another person with an old Rhodes in the group. I have a 78 and have been restoring it for far longer than I am prepared to admit but while the task has been formidable, it has also been a great pastime and I look forward to hearing about your progress.
