Number 244!?  My old boat was number 249! And yes, to the best of my knowledge, that is the numbering scheme. - rob

As I understand it, my serial number. GBX220052G76. breaks down as follows:

GBX = General Boats
22 = model
0052 = Production number for that year
G = month of manufacture - July
76 = Year of manufacture  1976


SAIL NUMBER: 244 - the 244th boat built of that model

I stand to be corrected.
