Guys,

After considerable effort I have developed a media system which has become a perfect match for onboard video, TV, Chromecast viewing, and gaming.  I attached a picture of the 'stowed' configuration which is quite portable and compact.  The screen size can  be varied, although I built this prototype for use in my boomroom, a perfect fit for a very comfortable cockpit environment.  I use a 'remote controlled' cockpit ceiling lamp for good lighting results, so it is easy and safe to move around the full cockpit space, quite large as we know.

The open screen equates to about 52" diagonal, so a nice sized picture to watch while resting back against the cabin bulkhead.  My favored projector, based on portability, reliability, and ease of use is 500 lumens, about 75 watts with a low consumption inverter in our 12 volt system, and a nice picture, even in daylight.  I have a 5 year warranty suggestion, even though the LED lamp is estimated for a very extended life.

I guess I am excited for Spring thaws and my new BoomTheater !  Who is bringing the popcorn?
