You are right on for individual use. I also use my iPad for myself. The projection is nice for a group, so it doubles nicely when we want a very large screen at home, camping, back yard, etc. I enjoyed the convenience of the Aereo service in Atlanta until the SCOTUS ruled against it - this unit has a broadcast/cable tuner. Sailing with a 50" screen is kinda nice for many.

I hope you are enjoying the St. Johns. Have you sailed south on the river yet?

Art,

I just watch movies on my iPad Air.

Whenever and wherever.

The black bag contains the projector, cords, dc inverter power supply, and the usb and Comcast 'dongles' for Netflix, etc. I could also keep the laptop monitor connector with this, but instead have found that the Comcast 'cast' function is handy and simpler to use for computing needs.

The BR enclosure keeps out the bright sunlight and heat, bugs, wind and rain, and dew in the am, and lets in the ventilation as wanted. Just like the Fox, stars and all !
