[Rhodes22-list] Lowering motor on electric lift if battery dies?

My winch has a clutch that can be disengaged so it can free-spool. I have
the Chicago Electric winch with the wireless remote.  I purchased the
Schaefer Boom Vang Kit that I will use in an emergency. I'll attach one end
to the stern pulpit and the other to the motor. That's the plan anyway.
