It all depends on how ambitious your cooking aspirations are. I ended up
with a small single burner alcohol burner in the galley which I use mainly
for boiling water and I love BBQ so I mounted a propane Magna Kettle on the
transom. I actually bought an all stainless 2 burner propane cooker that
runs off the small Coleman gas bottles, but it takes up a lot of galley
counter space so I scrapped that idea. I mounted the alcohol cooker on a
chopping board and it stows under my sink when I am sailing and fits nicely
into the counter for cooking.
