Ok, this evening i am changing out my CB pennant drain tube from cockpit to CB trunk.  It looks like the last owner did cb maintainence and replaced the line but just cut the tube off short and wasnt with it enough to know he made his bilge a sump for his cockpit seats :-/
Too bad he didnt know it was just a section of inexpensive waterhose.  My question is how much excess line does everyone leave.  Mine has a whole 50' roll of yacht braid.  I dont want to cut it off too short.
