Catalina 22 commercial ones are a great fit. You can buy 3 wooden ones for the price of a fiberglass one. Of course, however, i like the idea of supporting general boats.

There is something nice about the feel of a wooden tiller. I sailed a hunter 23 once with an aluminum tiller--yuck! It felt creepy like nails on a chalkboard.

Every sailor needs at least one wood varnish project a year for nostalia!

Alternatively you could make your own. I once made a beautiful wood tiller for about $12.

Bob (palatka)
