Shawn,

On Friday, 5 June, the winds were roughly out of the south and were variable
between 5 and 12 mph. The bluffs created wind shadows and the gaps between
the bluffs accelerated the wind. I wished for better wind, but it was a
straight downwind sail right up the lake. Returning, I was able to do a
close reach back until we ran out of time and had to fire up the Tohatsu in
order to make it back to the marina on time. 

It was a very enjoyable day.
