[Rhodes22-list] Water in the cockpit when motoring

Susan,
I keep a wood dowel shaped for the hole handy when I take a lot of people  
out. It's nothing more than an old sofa's wooden leg sanded down to fit into 
the  hole.

Next time your boat is out of the water, glue a  rubber door stopper in
front of the drain hole--pointed end forward.   This will create a vacuum in
the hole and you won't get water up the drain  even with the fattest crew.
