[Rhodes22-list] A Visit to Edenton

My Wife and I made the trip from Connecticut, and visited Stan at the GBI
plant yesterday (Nov 13).  We got a quick tour of the plant, and a full tour
of a high end recently recycled Rhodes 22.  Unfortunately, though it was a
pleasant day in general, it was too windy to go out for a sail.

We talked with Stan about what features we were looking for in a boat, and a
ballpark figure of what we would like to spend.  Stan said the feature list
and the price tag were not out of line, but he currently didn't have a
suitable boat to use as a starting point.  So we wrote him a check to secure
our place in line, and now we have to try to be patient as we wait.

Stan indicated that's it's not unreasonable to think we might have a boat by
the time spring comes to Connecticut.  I hope so.

I'll let you know how things progress as our journey to becoming Rhodies
unfolds.
