[Rhodes22-list] Nav light install advice request

Hey Rhodesevelts:
     I plan to install l.e.d. nav. lights port and starboard at the bow, I fancy those long l.e.d. strips. On running the wires, what's the consensus: in the cabin behind the  trim at top of the bulkhead or outside behind the rub rail?  I'll run one line up the starboard side and split it off at the one light and go over the other side.  Thanks for the trusted advice.
