[Rhodes22-list] Table base location

Having a short leg for the table to support it in the lower position is a
good idea although I have never had a problem with mine. Both my wife and I
are pretty thin though so maybe a heavier person would need the extra
support. If you have a short leg, it should not be difficult to inset the
leg into the table bracket, put the table in the lower position, reach under
and mark the exact base location.  I would not rely on measurements from
other people's boats as I expect that there could well be significant
variation between them.

Ted:  That is ok.  I believe the table base in my cabin floor must have been
like Richards; there to support the tabletop in the wide berth position.  
Now i know where to put it!  I too was thinking it would be really tight to
try and use it in the cabin as a table.  Thats not to say a mini table
couldnt be used in there though. Hmmmm. Thats what is so fun about DIY!
