[Rhodes22-list] Back Home Safe and Sound

Kim and I took two days to make the trip from Edenton back home to Connecticut via the inland route (interstates 95, 64, 81, and 84), avoiding the major metropolitan areas. There were no major events. The new dual axle trailer towed well, though it would sometimes fishtail a bit if I pushed the speed much above 65 mph.

The boat is currently sitting in my driveway. I need to get it registered before I can put it on the mooring in Groton. While I have it close to hand, I’ll try to get it at least minimally provisioned, and see if there are any modifications or enhancements I want to make. Nothing major at this point, I’m sure.

For the past couple of years, I’ve been making videos of my backpacking trips and posting them on YouTube. I enjoy the process, so I’m sure I’ll be doing some boat related videos in the not too distant future. I’ll let you know when that happens, but I’ll warn you in advance that I’m not afraid to make them long.
