[Rhodes22-list] Looking for new home for Da List (and website)

The Rhodes 22 Email List rhodes22-list at rhodes22.org
Sat Feb 6 12:55:44 EST 2016

In the early years this list was totally dependent on one person, Michael Meltzer, who created the domain ‘rhodes22.org’ and hosted the website and the software that runs the list. A few years ago John Lock took over hosting duties. Michael continues to own the domain.

So now, hopefully, responsibility for hosting will pass on to someone else, but a fundamental aspect of our situation will not change. The list will continue to be dependent on two members, and should either one suddenly disappear (for whatever reason) it’s very likely that rhodes22.org <http://rhodes22.org/> and everything associated with it would also disappear.

So, it would be nice if, for both of these functions, there could be a second list member with administrative authority. I have no suggestion for how this could actually be accomplished, but I did want to point out the vulnerability.

By the way, the registration for the rhodes22.org <http://rhodes22.org/> domain expires on March 6th of this year.
