The Rhodes 22 Email List rhodes22-list at rhodes22.org
Mon Mar 28 20:58:55 EDT 2016

As always,it's fun watching your travels. I saw a google photo included. I have no idea how the rules work for a personal sight and welcome an education. I was at a meeting a couple years ago and learned about trolling search robots that look for copywrited images and threaten the page owner with legal action extorting payment. By the time I was back in Ohio I had my letter. My office manager, the daughter of a lawyer, had posted what she thought was a free image on the page. I had to pay a few hundred dollars.
I had a second problem with a commercial webpage developer using canned images last fall. They had rights to the images but client businesses like me were threatened anyway.
If you don't want to deal with the vultures, you might pull the photo as a precaution.
If anybody knows how it works feel free to correct me.

Well I sold my Rhodes last winter to a man from Brooklyn named Henry, so you wont see me very much on this forum. He bought himself a sweet boat! I had it for 15 years and now someone else will benefit from it. Occasionally I will reply if I have something to contribute.

As a "temporary" fix to fit the lights that I got, I made a teak ring that raised the fixture enough and allowed me to use the replacement bulbs I had ordered. Alas, I didn't have enough teak for the other side so used some HDPE white plastic 3/4" thick.
