What head sail do you have?  I had the 175 and have found the 135 to be more manageable in big wind gusts. - rob

I do have the IMF. And don’t know the answer to your question on big gusts.  I would have been too distracted in that instance to think about it.  It is not my practice to be out in big wind 😃.  For the type of sailing that I do, this really isn’t a big deal. It is just the principle of the thing that it bothers me.  I would like the boat to be right.
